What instrumentations are available?
Solo violin is available and is an excellent choice for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, proposals, or private dinners/events. Or choose violin & piano to add that extra something special for a bigger, fuller sound!
What kind of events do you perform for?
We do more than weddings! We can perform for corporate events, engagement parties, proposals, anniversaries, private dinner parties, fundraisers, holiday markets - the only limits are your imagination!
What kind of music do you play?
Our repertoire includes a wide variety of music - including classical, fiddle/folk music, Americana, 1960s/70s classic rock, 1940s/50s jazz, and 21st century pop songs. We also have an extensive collection of Christmas/holiday music!
Can I hire you for an outdoor event?
Yes! However musicians and their instruments need cover in the case of rain. Make sure to have an alternate "rain plan" for your outdoor event - or be able to provide a tent or some kind of "cover" for the musicians and instruments. An electrical outlet is needed if our piano keyboard is required.
What if my event space doesn't have a piano?
As long as there is an electrical outlet - we will be able to bring an electric piano keyboard and amplifier for the performance.
Do you need microphones?
It depends on the size of the venue - for smaller or outdoor venues amplification is probably not needed. In a larger space (such as a hotel ballroom) it would be helpful to make sure the audience can hear us! It is up to the client to provide amplification if it is deemed necessary. If you have already hired a DJ for your event - they usually can help with this!
How do I select music for my event?
Rachel (violinist) will meet with you either in person or via phone/Zoom/Skype to help you select music for your special event! This service is included with your booking fee.
What areas do you perform in?
We will perform for events in Minneapolis/St. Paul and the surrounding suburbs. Events outside of that area are possible but would require a fee to be charged for travel time.
